As she said, Lara and I have been collaborating for a while now on cosmetics,  beauty, and health tips and ideas. We decided why not write it down for more of a public venue. So I guess this is my intro to me. I now live in Louisiana, about an hour and a half from the place I grew up.

I now work as an Speech Therapist in the school system, and thanks to Lara....am addicted to cosmetics.  I have recently been interested in more organic/home remedies for beauty and health, as opposed to just taking a pill or buying something loaded with extra chemicals. I also don't mind trying out the less expensive products, since that has what I have been doing most of my life, and have only recently begun to dabble in going to higher quality/professional cosmetic retailers

My favorite places to get cosmetics are Wal-Mart, Sephora, and Ulta.  I have never been to a Mac store. My favorite as of yet is Ulta and Sephora. I love the ability to try out EVERYTHING they sell (at least of the 'prestige' cosmetics). I mostly go to Ulta since a store is about 15 minutes from where I live, and the closest Sephora is about 2 hours away.

Speaking of Ulta, I will show you what I sent Lara just this morning! Lol...I need to remember to blog instead of email. 

Just got the newest Ulta newsletter in.  It's buy one get one 50% off for NYX. Look online at all of their NYX items.  The few things I have from NYX I love. I'm gonna have to go there and check out more of their stuff.  They are so inexpensive too. 

 

I have frost beige in this, but the other colors look pretty too.  Love this, it stays on all day and is very pretty.

Very interested in this.
